Hi, I’m Niya, the founder of Brat The Brand Mobile Bar. My professional bartending journey started back in 2017 while attending Clark Atlanta University, where I discovered my passion for mixology and creating unforgettable experiences through craft cocktails and exceptional service.
During my senior year, over spring break, I invested my last $500 to obtain my mixology license in 2018. Two years later, during the pandemic, I started Brat The Brand after losing my first “big girl” job. With bills piling up and the job market at an all-time low, I turned my skills and passion into a lucrative business. Bartending was no longer just a job it became a way to connect with people, create joy, and elevate every event.
After spending over 10 years in Atlanta, I moved back to Harlem to further grow my career. I worked closely with Melba, a Black woman who has successfully run Melba’s Restaurant for 20 years in the heart of Harlem, as a bar manager. While there, I helped create a “Black Bar” featuring Black-owned liquors and had the privilege of crafting cocktails for some of the restaurant’s most notable guests. This experience not only refined my skills but also deepened my commitment to delivering luxury, memorable experiences.
Today, I travel between New York and Atlanta, providing upscale mobile bar services designed to elevate every celebration. From private parties to weddings and corporate events, my goal is to bring style, professionalism, and an unforgettable bar experience to every occasion. At Brat The Brand Mobile Bar, we believe every celebration deserves something special.
My mission is also to help service industry workers learn a skill that can be both lucrative and fun. Through my bartending courses, I teach real skills, build confidence, and open doors for aspiring bartenders to take pride in their craft.
